A fundraising event for the Corn Exchange, two films featuring Wallingford will be shown for the bargain price of £5. Wallingford: the story of an ancient town looks at the colour, drama and excitement of Wallingford's long history, from its beginnings as one of Alfred the Great's most important fortified towns to its more recent roles as a home for artists and writers such as Dame Agatha Christie. After an interval Map of Midsomer will be shown, narrated by John Nettles and including various local people and places.
