The Runner

A routine morning run becomes a desperate race across London when high-powered prosecutor Maia Marten receives a terrifying phone call: her young son has been kidnapped. His captor has hacked her phone, is watching her every move and gives her just one hour to reach a protected witness in a major criminal trial. If she refuses to follow his increasingly dangerous instructions, her son will die. Gal Gadot stars alongside Damian Lewis in Kevin Macdonald’s breathless action thriller, filmed on the streets of London and unfolding against the clock as Maia is forced to run, improvise and decide just how far she will go to save her child.

Daniel Craig makes his electrifying debut as James Bond in the film that reinvented 007 for a new generation. Newly promoted to double-O status, Bond is sent after Le Chiffre, a banker to international terrorists whose fortunes now depend on a high-stakes poker tournament at Montenegro’s Casino Royale.
